A report details how Tottenham could swoop in and steal Man United target

Strengthening their attack will be at the top of the list for Tottenham Hotspur. The north London club will want to add scoring depth behind Harry Kane and Son Heung-min. There are various names linked to Spurs; Ajax’s Antony is one of the newest names to surface.

Manchester United has been the club constantly linked to the Brazilian as they hope to reunite the forward with manager Erik ten Hag. However, Spurs could swoop in and undertake Antony considering they have a chip that the Dutch giants want.

According to The Independent, the north London club could offer Steven Bergwijn to Ajax as part of a deal for Antony, with the Eredivisie champions having shown interest in the Tottenham winger.

Spurs have received an offer from Ajax for Bergwijn, but it the bid didn’t meet their asking price, but perhaps this is a way both sides can be happy. The report doesn’t state how much the Premier League side would have to pay while also including the winger.

The 22-year-old appeared in 32 fixtures while scoring 12 goals and recording ten assists this past season.
