“We can’t lose our head” – Tottenham ace not losing hope of finishing in the top four

Tottenham Hotspur missed an opportunity to further solidify their position in the top four following a home loss to Brighton & Hove Albion. Arsenal lost this week to Southampton, so Spurs missed out on the opportunity to distance themselves from The Gunners.

Furthermore, Manchester United picked up a win too to put themselves back in the conversation for the final UEFA Champions League. Despite there being primary concern regarding Tottenham’s missed opportunity, The Athletic relayed the remarks relayed by Lucas Moura, who has a positive mindset.

Although Spurs had a disappointing result against The Seagulls, all hope isn’t lost in Moura’s eyes regardless of the squad’s pressure to hold onto their current spot.

“We are all disappointed,” said Moura. “It was a very bad game and we didn’t play well at all. We need to learn from these kinds of games. There is no time to cry. Let’s go for the next game.”

“The top four is still possible and it is our objective. We can’t lose our minds now, we can’t lose our head, because we played really well the last few games. We look at the table but we knew the fight would be until the end. We need to fight, we need to work hard for the next game.”

The north London club will head to the Brentford Community Stadium for their matchup with The Bees. Meanwhile, Arsenal has a midweek fixture against Chelsea and then welcomes Manchester United for a matchup that will draw Spurs supporters to watch.

Before their tilt at the Emirates, The Red Devils will head to Anfield for a Tuesday match against Liverpool. So this week sees Tottenham scoreboard watching to see if both teams chasing them will drop points.
