Doucoure who was having an excellent game for Everton has been given the marching orders after a scuffle off the ball.

There was a clash between him and Harry Kane on the side of the pitch, right in front of the managers,

Kane shoved Doucoure first, but then the Everton man pushed back followed by a push in the face.

Granted that there was not much to it and Kane went down rather theatrically to get him sent off but you cannot swing your arms around at an opposition player’s face in today’s day and age.

The England captain also picked up a yellow for his part in the altercation.

Watch the incident below:

The game is still 0-0, and Spurs must capitalise on their numerical advantage to secure all three points against Everton.
