Rafael van der Vaart’s took over Tottenham’s official Twitter page yesterday to pick his three favourite goals from his short but spectacular Spurs spell.

Sure, the feint to deceive Richard Dunne is nice but is this not a bit of an underwhelming selection for a player who dazzled us with his quality?
This might not even be his best Spurs goal against Aston Villa? I’m thinking of that brilliant counter-attack involving Gareth Bale and Aaron Lennon.
There was also the volley against Liverpool, which he did rank second to the Villa goal, the sweeping finish against Inter Milan after a lovely Luka Modric through-ball, and cracking curlers against Blackburn and Swansea.
