Tottenham target preparing himself for Premier League move

Sami Khedira has revealed that he is preparing himself for life in the Premier League as the German looks to leave Juventus.

He has been sidelined in Turin this season after he refused their offer to rip up the final year of his contract with them.

With no football in the first half of the season, he seems to want a move away next month.

He has been linked with a move to Tottenham after revealing that Jose Mourinho is one of the best managers that he has ever worked with.

He has also worked with Carlo Ancelotti, and the Italian is now the manager of Everton in the Premier League as well.

Spurs will make good use of a player with his experience of winning titles in Spain and Italy, and the German appears to also want a move to England.

He was speaking to the Athletic recently and said that the Premier League is one competition that he wants to play in and he has been getting ready for an opportunity there.

“The Premier League is still missing in my collection, to play there would be the icing on the cake,” the Germany international told The Athletic.

“There are fewer breaks in the game and many counter-attacks, but this is what I like. I’ve done extra sessions with fitness coaches to get myself ready for the pace and intensity in the Premier League.

“My gut instinct and passion tell me I need to play football, if possible in the Premier League. I’m working towards that.”
