Tottenham remain very keen on signing Serie A star and talks have intensified

Tuttosport via Football London claims that Tottenham is still very much interested in a move for Inter Milan defender, Milan Skriniar and talks about landing him are intensifying.

The Slovakian has been a long-term target of Jose Mourinho who tried to sign him for Manchester United when he managed the Red Devils.

He has maintained his interest in the defender and will now look to sign him for Tottenham as well.

The Lilywhites have been linked with a move for him for some time now, with earlier reports claiming that the Italians are willing to offer him in exchange for Tanguy Ndombele and Mourinho will not mind.

However, the latest report doesn’t mention a swap deal, but it claims that the Italians are open to selling him as long as they can find a replacement for him.

Mourinho led Tottenham to the Europa League at the end of the just-concluded season, and the special one will want to win that trophy.

He wants to add some new players to his team so that he will have enough options to attack the four competitions they will be playing next season.

The Lilywhites have already lost Jan Vertonghen and the Belgian will need replacing, especially because Mourinho doesn’t fancy Juan Foyth.
