Tottenham chances of signing Serie A star starting to decline

One area that Tottenham is determined to strengthen in this transfer window is their striker position, yet that role is one that their targets are consistently shying away from.

Spurs have spent all summer looking for a new striker and their delay in making a move for the likes of Callum Wilson and Victor Osimhen has seen both of them join other suitors.

One striker that the Lilywhites can still sign is Arkadiusz Milik, yet it seems that he too may slip from their grasp.

Express Sports is reporting that the Polish striker has been offered to Everton in this transfer window.

The report claims that his agent, David Pantek, has been in England to try to strike a deal for the striker with Tottenham, but he is also open to other possibilities.

Daniel Levy is unwilling to meet Napoli’s asking price for the former Ajax man, and although the striker’s contract will run out in the summer, Levy is offering a loan to buy.

Everton has now shown interest in signing him as Carlo Ancelotti looks for a reunion with the striker he worked with at Naples.

The Toffees, however, need to sell Moise Kean first before they can land Milik and that might give Spurs the window to still sign the striker.
