Report: Tottenham transfer target to decide future in the coming days amid offers from Man United, Brentford

Tottenham Hotspur is looking for some more offensive prowess from their midfield for next season, which is why the north London club is linked to a reunion with Christian Eriksen.

Furthermore, manager Antonio Conte had the 30-year-old at Inter Milan, so there’s a connection at the club and managerial level for Eriksen. Transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano provided the latest on the midfielder, with three offers on the table between Spurs, Manchester United, and Brentford.

“Christian Eriksen has three proposals on the table, one from Brentford, one from Tottenham, and one from Manchester United. So he’s going to decide in the coming days,” Romano said.

“But at the moment, it’s still something that is verbal, is still nothing on paper, and still nothing finalized.”

During his time at Tottenham, the Denmark international made 304 appearances, where he scored 69 goals and recorded 90 assists. Meanwhile, at Inter Milan under Conte, Eriksen appeared in 60 fixtures, scoring eight goals and recording three assists.

It will be interesting to see where Eriksen decides to sign after a six-month stint with Brentford, showing that he’s more than capable of playing at a high level. Furthermore, it helped erase any doubts that he could not return to form after suffering a cardiac arrest last summer.
