Report: Spurs hoping to reunite with former manager Mauricio Pochettino

The future of Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte will be a topic of discussion over these next couple of months. There will be plenty of speculation whether the Italian tactician will remain for next season.

Should Conte leave, talkSPORT (via Sky Sports) reports that Paris Saint-Germain boss Mauricio Pochettino could be lining up for a return back to north London. The Argentine tactician has been linked to the Manchester United job for the past few months.

Pochettino’s time in the French capital could end despite sporting director Leonardo giving him a vote of confidence. The club chief stated recently insisting the French giants have made no plans to replace the 49-year-old.

However, the rumors regarding their interest in former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane won’t go away. The latest report reveals that the club’s owner, Emir Tamim ben Hamad Al-Thani, keeps in regular touch with the French tactician.

If Manchester United sees Pochettino as their new manager for the 2022-23 season, they’ll face competition.
