Report: Roma sets asking price for Juventus, Tottenham transfer target

Last week, a report surfaced that Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur were sending officials to watch AS Roma’s Nicolò Zaniolo for their UEFA Conference League first leg against Leicester City.

Roma might have got wind of this, and it seems as though they’re ready to name their asking price for any club interested in the 22-year-old this summer. According to Tuttosport (via Calciomercato), the Italian club wants €50-million for the right-winger, who can also play in the midfield.

Along with teams in the Premier League, Juventus also eyes Zaniolo hoping to land another young Italian talent, so there’s plenty of competition for the Roma man.

Zaniolo has appeared in 39 fixtures for the capital club this season, scoring seven goals and eight assists. Nonetheless, it will be up to manager Jose Mourinho to have the final say as to whether the player remains as he’s under contract with Roma until 2024. Hence, there is no rush in needing to sell during the summer transfer window.
