Pundit tips Daniel Levy to make unlikely signing under right conditions

Danny Mills has tipped Daniel Levy to get a bargain deal on the re-signing of Christian Eriksen from Inter Milan.

Recent reports have revealed that Inter Milan is looking to offload the former Tottenham midfielder after he struggled for form since he moved to the Italian capital (Talksport).

After seven years at Tottenham, Eriksen decided to move away from the North London side to try something new.

His previous deal would have ended at the end of last season, but Spurs managed to sell him for a transfer fee in the last January transfer window.

His time in Italy has been a frustrating one for the player and his new club, and the Italians are reportedly looking to sell him off as soon as possible.

Tottenham has been named as one of the teams that will look to sign him and Mills believes that Levy will be willing to get the deal done.

He claims that Spurs would be getting a bargain and a player that knows their team very well so it is a deal that can happen.

Asked by Football Insider whether he can see the Dane moving back to north London, Mills said: “If the deal is right.

“I’m pretty sure if Daniel Levy is getting a bargain, having made some money on him already, they’ll certainly look at it.

“He’s a player of quality, that knows the club inside out so there’s every chance.

“It would certainly be foolish to rule it out immediately.”
