Pundit makes Tottenham v Leicester City score prediction – has he called it right?

The big Premier League game this weekend is Tottenham v Leicester City on Sunday afternoon. Tottenham will be looking to build on their recent success in a bid to finish this season in a Europa League place.

This game is one of the most anticipated in this round of matches because both teams have something to play for. The Foxes are desperate to hang on to the fourth spot and know anything less than a win could seriously damage that ambition.

Spurs have struggled this season, but Jose Mourinho seems to have finally found a stable team that he can send out with some confidence.

Spurs beat Newcastle 3-1 in their last league game to make it three wins and no losses from their last four league games, and BBC pundit Mark Lawrence believes that Mourinho’s team will be able to maintain their winning form.

He admits that Leicester did well in their last match when they beat Sheffield United at the King Power Stadium, however, he added that he doesn’t think that they have been consistent enough before predicting a 2-1 win for Tottenham in the game.

A win for Spurs would strengthen their position in the league table as they seek to end this season inside the top six.
