Premier League outfit keen to sign Tottenham midfielder before the transfer window shuts

Watford wants to sign unwanted Tottenham midfielder, Moussa Sissoko, in this transfer window.

The Frenchman who joined them from Newcastle United in 2016 for £31.5million is out of the first-team plans of Nuno Espirito Santo at the moment.

He would hardly play this season if he remains at the club and will now look to find a new home.

The Sun says Watford has now opened talks with Tottenham to sign him before this transfer window closes.

The report says the Hornets sees him as an experienced head who can make them an even better club.

Sissoko was a member of the team under Jose Mourinho, but his playing time has reduced since the current AS Roma manager was sacked.

Nuno Santo has also decided that he isn’t a part of his plans and is happy to sanction his move away from the club.

Tottenham has had a busy summer transfer window after adding the likes of Cristian Romero and Bryan Gil to their squad.

The Lilywhites will now look to offload some of their deadwood before the transfer window shuts next week.

Another midfielder who could leave the club in the coming days is Tanguy Ndombele, who looks to be out of the plans of the current manager as well.
