Paulo Dybala Transfer Takes A Twist: Levy Could Well Be Offered A Lucrative Part Exchange Deal This Summer

Argentinian star Paulo Dybala is available this summer and Nathan Salt for the Daily Mail believes that Tottenham and Chelsea are braced to take advantage of the Juventus star being in the last year of his contract with the Italian giants, with the notion being that the price of €55million still stands. Unhelpfully, Mr. Salt includes links to France Football, via Sport Witness, both of which only lead us to their site’s respective homepages.

However, if we look at today’s Calicomercato‘s report, we are offered a more compelling suggestion that the value of Dybala has plummeted after extensive injury and just a short time to run on his contract. This Italian report then states that wheels have been in motion to shift Dybala out of Juventus in some sort of player exchange plus cash deal.

I take a view that this player needs to be avoided at all costs. A 28-year-old will be 29-years of age in November, is of limited use to this Tottenham squad, and we’ve enough on our hands with Gareth Bale, without adding more confusion.

Expect a glut of disingenuous, ‘Eric Dier to Juventus in player swap’ stories.
