No need to panic, Tottenham will do just fine without Harry Kane

Losing Harry Kane this summer will be a tough hit for sure but it will not be the end of the world and neither does it mean that Spurs will all of a sudden start dropping down the table and become a mid-table team.

Tottenham have been here before, not only did they cope with losing Gareth Bale they then went on and became an established top-four side, title challengers and Champions League finalists.

The club has sold the likes of Dimitar Berbatov, Luka Modric, Michael Carrick, Christian Eriksen and so on and they will lose top players in the future.

It is how you recruit replacements that really matters, get that right and all will be fine, if not, then there will be a period of decay.

It is not just Tottenham that loses their best players, Eden Hazard left Chelsea, Luis Suarez at Liverpool, Leroy Sane at Man City, Ronaldo left Man Utd and of course, everyone and their uncle jumps ship at Arsenal at some point.

It is the nature of football, players leave, even Lionel Messi could leave Barcelona, you brush yourselves down and move on, simply because there is nothing else to do.

Tottenham have a good opportunity now, I would prefer Kane to stay but no point crying over his departure if that is what happens, better to look forward and hope the club get it right in the transfer market.

So, no need to panic at all, Tottenham will be just fine.
