Millwall Gaffer On Troy Parrott’s Loan Deal|video

It sounds as if this deal was somewhat of a coup for Millwall, in so much that Parrott and Spurs both selected the London side from a quite a short list, which was rumoured to include Celtic.

It looks as if Parrott could gain himself some valuable experience at Millwall, but he will need to deliver during his season away. The Championship is a new battle every week, and there will be no automatic place for the Irishman if he cannot earn the trust of his new gaffer.

At Spurs, Mourinho gave a flat ‘he’s not ready’ when asked about the boy back in March, but what was concerning was Jose telling the press that Troy needed help on AND off of the pitch.

Marcus Edwards clearly had issues when loaned to Norwich City and was incapable of reliably arriving on time for training in Norfolk. Parrott needs to earn glowing reports during his time at The Den.
