Journalist reveals Tottenham stance on Tanguy Ndombele future

Tottenham have no intention of selling or loaning out Tanguy Ndombele this summer despite his poor season under Jose Mourinho, according to a verified source.

Spurs broke their transfer record to sign the Frenchman from Lyon last summer and they expected him to start strongly as soon as he came in.

However, he struggled under Mauricio Pochettino and has continued to struggle under Jose Mourinho.

The Portuguese manager has been open about his disapproval of the midfielder’s attitude and application in games.

This has caused him to become unsettled at the Tottenham Stadium. Reports have linked several teams with a move for him this season, with Barcelona looking to rescue him from North London.

Some reports even claimed that the Lilywhites would look to cash in on him in the summer.

However, Jonathan Veal who covers Tottenham for PA Sport has come out to clear the air on Spurs stance about the midfielder.

He claims that Tottenham has no intention of letting him leave them this season, even temporarily.

He Tweeted

There have been some pretty wild transfer speculation regarding Tanguy Ndombele over the weekend. However, I understand Tottenham are firm in the stance that they have no intention of allowing him to leave this summer, either on loan or permanently. #THFC #COYS.

Hopefully, that will put to rest the unfounded rumours about the 23-year-old’s future
