“I would not worry about Harry Kane, he is our man” Support comes in for Kane after slow start

Frank Lampard has backed Harry Kane to shine for England in Euro 2020 despite his poor showing against Croatia.

Kane is England captain and arguably their best player and he has just won the Premier League’s Golden Boot.

However, he hasn’t been on top form on the international scene recently and it is a worry to some England fans.

He was fairly anonymous as England beat Croatia in their opening game of Euro 2020.

The game ended 1-0 thanks to a Raheem Sterling strike.

Kane won the Golden Boot in his last major international competition (2018 World Cup) and he is one of the players that England fans are banking on to help them win the Euro’s.

Some fans may be worried that their main goalscorer hasn’t hit top form yet, but Lampard says they have no cause for concern and Kane will come good for the national team.

‘I would not worry about Harry Kane, he is our man,’ Lampard said via Mail Sport

‘Save one today, the team played really well, there will be a really positive feel about the group.

‘Harry Kane will deliver when it comes.’

Kane has scored 34 goals from 55 games for the Three Lions and fans will hope to see him add more to that tally in this competition.
