Harry Kane hints at his future with Tottenham while praising the turnaround under Antonio Conte

Tottenham Hotspur is on the verge of clinching a UEFA Champions League spot for next season. Furthermore, many can feel that manager Antonio Conte is on the cusp of building something special in north London, and it seems as though Harry Kane wants to be a part of this chapter.

Coming off a win this past weekend against Burnley and later the result of Arsenal’s 2-0 loss to Newcastle United has Spurs in good spirits. Furthermore, despite rumors of a possible exit, the 28-year-old might not want to leave north London.

Nonetheless, Kane told the Evening Standard that there’s still work to be done since they control their destiny for a top-four finish since a point over Norwich guarantees them Champions League football.

“There is still a lot of work to do,” Kane said. “I think the improvement has definitely been there since the gaffer (Antonio Conte) came in to where we are now.”

“It shows it can be done in a short space of time, but obviously, we will see what happens over the summer and look forward to the next season with a great manager. Hopefully, we’ve learnt a lot since he’s been here.”

If Spurs can get a point on Sunday, Kane, like many who follow Spurs, will hope it’s enough for chairman Daniel Levy to back Conte financially to fix the squad and turn it into one that can win trophies next season.
