Daniel Levy is a lucky man, he will not have to face the gauntlet of abuse that would surely have come his way if Tottenham was at home this weekend.
You cannot escape a loss to a side like Mura if your next game is a home fixture but you can escape it if your team returns home after a win in the Premier League and that is the good fortune that is shining on Levy right now.
Fans are fickle, me included and a win over Burnley at the weekend and the horrendous defeat last night will probably be put to one side for now, in better words, no crescendo of boos for Levy to experience when Spurs are back at the Tottenham Stadium next Thursday night. If we beat the Clarets that is.
Even with this bunch of dysfunctional wallies, Spurs could realistically beat Burnley at Turf Moor, beat Brentford at home and then beat Norwich at home the following Sunday, what a fortunate run of games that is.
Imagine if we were facing Liverpool at home on Sunday, then imagine if that was followed up with an away day at say, the Emirates and then a return home to face Chelsea but no, three rather easy games that could quite possibly paper over the huge cracks and take some of the pressure off Levy.
