Confirmed – Tottenham have made contact with French outfit for prolific forward

Spurs are one of the teams looking to sign exciting Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen after his fine first season at French side, Lille.

The Nigerian only joined Lille in the summer but he is already being tipped to leave them for a big-money move.

Tottenham have been looking to sign a backup striker to Harry Kane as their reliance on the England captain sees them struggle when he becomes unavailable.

Osimhen would represent a good backup to the Englishman but his agent, Osita Okolo has said before that he wouldn’t want to join Spurs to become a bench warmer (The Cable).

“All the mentioned clubs (Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Chelsea) have made contact with him, but we will decide after his dad’s burial”.
