Peter Crouch has hailed former Tottenham teammate Rafael van der Vaart as his favourite partner that he played with during his career.
Speaking on his BBC Podcast, Crouch said: “Someone asked me recently who my favourite partner to play with out of anyone would be. I’ve played with and I would say him, (Van der Vaart). We had a good connection.”
Crouch and Van Der Vaart struck up a prolific partnership during their one season together at White Hart Lane. It was actually the 6ft 7in striker who was often the creator for the mercurial Dutch playmaker.
