Tottenham youngster tipped to continue his development by playing against Marine

The FA Cup gives teams the opportunity to blood some of their best youngsters and Mail Sport has tipped Dane Scarlett to be involved when Tottenham play against Marine this weekend.

At 16, he is highly-rated and has started making a name for himself in the Tottenham youth teams for some time now.

Jose Mourinho gave him his first-team bow which made him the youngest Spurs debutant when he played against Ludogorets in the Europa League earlier in the season.

He hadn’t even played for the club’s under23 team before making his senior team debut, but his 13 goals and 4 assists from 10 games for the Under18s was enough to convince Mourinho that he deserves a place among the likes of Harry Kane and Son Heung-min.

He came on as a replacement for Lucas Moura in the game against the Bulgarians, but Spurs are expected to ring the changes for the match against Marine and the report tips him to get another run out in the game.

He has seen his career development disrupted by an injury that kept him out for 10 months, but since he returned in August, he has continued to make progress.
