Tottenham target wants January move claims respected journalist

Gianluca Di Marzio claims that the agent of Arkaduisz Milik met with Napoli yesterday to discuss a January move away from the club for his client.

Milik has essentially been frozen out of the Napoli first team this season after he failed to get a move away from the club.

The Pole will be without club football until at least January.

Tottenham was linked with a move for him in the last transfer window before they decided to sign another striker.

He didn’t move to London after agreeing on a move to AS Roma, which eventually collapsed.

Spurs signed Carlos Vinicius on loan from Benfica and they remain linked with a move for Milik.

The Polish striker will be a fine addition to most teams and his expiring contract might make him a cheaper alternative to making Vinicius’ deal permanent.

The report claims that the striker is eager to start playing football again and his agent told Napoli that he doesn’t want to remain at the Naples side until the end of the season to leave for free.

He made it clear that the striker would favour a move away in the next transfer window, should the right offer arrive.
