Tottenham set to lose out on the signature of Feyenoord star to Italian giants

Spurs are set to miss out on the signing of Orkun Kokcu after the representatives of the Feyenoord star visited AC Milan.

The Turkish midfielder has been in fine form in the Dutch top flight and has attracted the attention of the Lilywhites since last summer (The Sun).

He has also caught the eyes of Arsenal who were keen to sign him in the last summer transfer window.

The Gunners couldn’t get the deal done and he has continued to improve himself.

He might not play in the Premier League next because the Daily Mail says Milan has become keen on him.

The report says the Italian side even held talks with his representatives who visited them last week to discuss a future transfer.

He started the year with an injury, but he has returned to enter the Eredivisie team of the month for February and March and named the Dutch top-flight’s young player of the month for March.

The report adds that although there are uncertainties about who would become Tottenham’s next manager, the Lilywhites believe that he would be useful to whoever they give the job next.

Spurs’ squad will need some revamping and adding him to their midfield might make them a better team in the next campaign.
