Tottenham remain determined to complete two major signings before window shuts

Standard Sports reports that Tottenham will look to follow the signing of Carlos Vinicius with the signing of Milan Skriniar from Inter Milan.

The Standard claims that The Lilywhites have reached an agreement with Benfica to sign Vinicius on loan for the rest of the season with the option of making the transfer permanent at the end of this season.

They have had a busy and somewhat successful transfer window so far with some impressive players joining the club.

Jose Mourinho, however, wanted a striker and a central defender before the transfer window closes.

Now that the club is on the verge of signing a striker for him, the Special One will be hoping that he will get a centre back too.

Skriniar has been the club’s top target and they have been looking to sign him all summer.

They are struggling to reach an agreement with Inter and it appears as though that deal is off.

The report is, however, claiming that Spurs will return to try to reach an agreement with Inter over his transfer again after they have landed Vinicius.

It remains unclear if Spurs will be ready to meet Inter Milan’s asking price for the Slovakian or if Daniel Levy has another trick he hopes to use to get the deal done.
