Tottenham in the running to land Bundesliga ace for a bargain €25m

Former Tottenham Technical director, Franco Baldini has turned to his former side as he looks to help AS Roma offload Patrik Schick.

The striker has been on loan at RB Leipzig this season and despite his fine form for the Germans; they are still not willing to pay the pre-agreed fee to make his loan move permanent, according to the print edition of Corriere dello Sport via Sport witness.

The report further claims that Baldini has now been asked to help find a buyer for the Czech Republic star and he has given Spurs the chance to sign the striker,

Almost everyone knows that Tottenham is in the market to sign a new striker who would act as a backup to Harry Kane and Schick has been touted as a possible signing for the Lilywhites.

Roma agreed to a permanent transfer fee of €25m with RB Leipzig when he joined the Germans on loan and that is the same fee they want for the Schick if he joins Spurs or any other side.

It remains unclear if Spurs would look to spend that much money on a backup striker considering that they have limited funds to work with in the next transfer window.

Spurs would not want to lose momentum like they did when Harry Kane got injured earlier in the year, and Schick’s 10 goals in 22 league games this season is a fine figure.

Schick is just 24-year-old and at €25m has to be considered a bargain buy based on his exploits in the Bundesliga.
