Report: Tottenham challenging Man United to land RB Leipzig star

Tottenham Hotspur will be in the market to improve their attack this summer. Spurs want alternatives aide from Harry Kane and Son Heung-min, who have carried the offensive load for them.

With the summer transfer window opening next month, there are plenty of names surfacing to fill this need for the north London club. According to Italian football journalist Gianluca Di Marzio (via Mundo Deportivo), Tottenham is keen on RB Leipzig’s Christopher Nkunku.

Nkunku is linked to another Premier League club in Manchester United. Also, the 24-year-old is drawing interest from other European giants like Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.

Since departing PSG in 2019 to find more playing time, Nkunku has flourished at RB Leipzig, and this season he’s become the focal point of their attack scoring 31 goals and recording 20 assists in 48 appearances.

When it comes to a possible price, ESPN does mention a €60-million tag that any club eyeing Nkunku will have to pay to land him from the German club.
