Report: Manchester United rebuffs Tottenham’s approach to land £63M talent

Tottenham Hotspur is looking to add scoring depth behind Harry Kane and Son Heung-min, especially with a season that sees them play UEFA Champions League football and have manager Antonio Conte who wants to challenge for trophies.

With Spurs being ambitious this summer, The Times reports that the north London club was interested in Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford. However, they rebuffed their Premier League rivals’ approach for their £63-million talent, per Transfermarkt

Manager Antonio Conte wants to bring a forward competent to play across the forward line and prepared to aid Rashford in rediscovering his past form following a disappointing 2021-22 season. This past year, the forward made 32 appearances scoring five goals and recording two assists.

Nonetheless, it seems as though Rashford is ready to compete for his spot on The Red Devils under new manager Erik ten Hag. It will be interesting to see whether the 24-year-old made the right decision to search for a new venture or remain at Old Trafford.
