Report: La Liga side keen on pursuing Tottenham Hotspur loanee this summer

The future of Bryan Gil at Tottenham Hotspur remains a cloudy one. The north London club loaned the 21-year-old to Valencia and didn’t include any option or obligation to buy in the deal.

Nonetheless, there will be some clubs in Spain looking to secure a deal for Gil. According to AS, Real Sociedad remains keen on the forward this summer as they’ve long had an interest in Gil, dating back to when he was at Sevilla.

Furthermore, Real Sociedad tried to land Gil on a loan deal when Tottenham allowed him to exit. Nonetheless, Valencia would be the ideal destination considering there was no competition at his position, which meant guaranteed playing time.

Gil has always been attracted by the possibility of playing for Real Sociedad. He welcomes this possibility due to the sporting level it offers him, with the Spanish club’s participation in the Europa League next season.

These past few months at Valencia, Gil made 13 appearances where he scored one assist and helped the La Liga side reach the Copa del Rey final.
