?A Jab Of Positivity Ahead Of Barca Clash

Apologies for the resumption of normal service. The unmitigated joy of upgrading one’s server. And to think some people are so thick they associate fewer comments with less traffic.

Spurs versus Barcelona looks like fun, or at least it did until you start to try work out what our starting XI might be.

Barca’s form has been called into question in certain quarters and would simply say this: ‘Good luck with the rain dance and I hope your crops get wet.’

Unlike Spurs, a side like Barcelona have strength in depth and a club strategy that looks beyond chasing money.

The good news however is that the grey clouds that are our injuries – may be clearing somewhat.

Hugo Lloris, Christian Eriksen and Mousa Dembele could still be in contention to make the game.

Dele Alli, Michel Vorm and Serge Aurier are all out, but to be blunt I’d rather have any of that first 3 than the last.

Will Jan Vertonghen be available?

To be perfectly honest, Sanchez, Toby and Rose are all in such good form right now, I wouldn’t get too aerated if the Belgian had to sit this one out.

We’re still in this.
