Bonzo to City rumours are taking a turn in a direction that I don’t feel are fair.
Rat Boy Modric wanted money. Berbatov went gooey eyed at thought of the status Manchester could provide him. Bale’s calling was a near spiritual one; to become the Welsh Ronaldo.
Bonzo didn’t just wake up one morning and decide to jack Spurs in. He’s not that kind of guy. This very probable move out of White Hart Lane is motivated by personal circumstances.
I read this earlier:
‘Walker is keen to up his wages, and sees City as the ideal club to allow him to do that and remain in the Premier League, something that’s a move [sic] attractive option to him than leaving for Spain – even if Barcelona are the suitors.’
It’s worse than lazy. It’s wholesale inaccurate.
Bonzo may be a bit of a twit, but don’t lump him in with the likes of Modric because that simply isn’t fair.
