Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid contact Spurs target as journalist hands verdict on the future of £15M talent

Tottenham Hotspur has seen their name in connection with Juventus forward Paulo Dybala. The 28-year-old will be leaving the Serie A giant after this season when his contract expires in June.

While it appears as though the north London club has cooled its interest in the Argentine who has a connection to Managing Director of Football Fabio Paratici, it seems as though there won’t be a reunion in north London.

According to Calciomercato, two clubs have made official contact about having Dybala join their club on a free transfer, Inter Miland and Atletico Madrid. Nonetheless, the report also details that his representative is also fielding engagement from Premier League clubs.

Despite many interested in seeing what players arrive, some players could be seeing out their final days with Tottenham, and journalist Noel Whelan stated to Football Insider that he believes Harry Winks will be part of the next round of players to exit Tottenham.

Manager Antonio Conte already saw some players leave in January, and there will be more that will join the likes of Dele Alli, Giovani Lo Celso, and Tanguy Ndombele.

“Conte will want to trim the squad, bring in his own people; he’s not had a summer transfer window yet. He’s only had a winter one, which is difficult, and the two players brought in have made a difference, “Whelan said. “Conte’s still probably learning and figuring out himself who needs to be at the football club. He’s had enough opportunities during the bad times of European football.”

“The nights we’ve seen that second string have a chance to prove themselves, they’ve been very unsuccessful. Harry Winks is probably one out there that he’s questioning whether he needs to keep. To give him the six players and the money is vital for how successful Tottenham will be next year. There have got to be outs, absolutely.”
