What we’re watching here is the end of a film that none of us in absolute truth would have tuned in for. My father was particularly keen upon a routine that drove the household nuts. He’d be knee-deep in a newspaper (this was a pre-Internet thing), and you’d walk into the front room to only see some awful nonsense; to which he’d say, “I’m just getting lined up for… [insert one film or other]”
Tottenham Hotspur Football Club become the last few minutes of a film that few if any of us would have voluntarily tuned in for. Who is to blame? Bruce Grove has for some time been convinced that José Mourinho has been no good for us at all.
I take a view is that our club is broken, that no coach might realistically be able to solve the ‘perceived’ problem – anyone wishing to debate this is aware of something I am not. Haha, haha… maybe Harry Winks and Dele Alli can save us?
