Home Before The Postcards: £10M Deal Collapses

And so it goes on…

Juan Foyth’s agent Veron, is back from London without closing the sale of Foyth, says FOX’s Federico Beuno.

Foyth said: “I found out about Tottenham’s interest through social networks. I would like to play in Europe, if something comes up that convinces me and the club I will go,” Foyth told Radio Continental.
“I know that my agent and Veron are travelling to speak with Tottenham. I am feeling relaxed. My agent never told me that an offer had arrived from Zenit. I would not go to Russia right now. If I do go it is not because I want to, but rather to help the club out economically.”

What’s particularly depressing is that we’re experiencing such a transfer famine, that we’re even discussing nonentities like Foyth.

Some 19 year old that will – in the scheme of things – make zero improvement to a side that finished second in the league last season.
