Jose Mourinho was clearly pretty disgusted that Harry Kane had to be run out for over an hour and a half against Norway, and if I was the Tottenham manager, I wouldn’t be impressed either. Kane himself didn’t get to do very much, then we covered that in this previous blog that identified the key reason.
Mourinho has form for not being entirely transparent about his player’s availability, as was proved against Manchester United with the inclusion of Sonny, that said, fair play to him, a coach must use every opportunity that presents itself to beat the other lot. Will Eric Dier start against West Ham? My hunch is that he will.
