Former Spurs Icon Agrees ‘I’m A Celebrity…  Get Me Out of Here!’ Deal

This will either end badly, very badly or so badly that it will hurt all of us who loved Paul Gascoigne as a Tottenham player. The former Spurs, Lazio, Rangers, and England ace has apparently agreed to participate in the Italian version of I’m A Celebrity . . . Get Me Out of Here!.

Isola de Famosi as the show is known in Italy is said to have ensured Gazza passed extensive mental and physical tests in order to be accepted for the two-month-long TV show, according to The Sun.

One has to question the wisdom of this, given Paul’s extremely chequered past involving all manner of drink and drug misuse. The former footy star’s public most recent incidents have produced far more questions than answers; one random example would be the 52-year-old shacking up with some ageing dolly bird Gazza met on a holiday that the Daily Mail highlighted last year.

I pretty sure everyone wishes Paul well, but this appears to be another bad decision.
