Dybala Twist From Spanish Press: Pochettino May Hold More Pull With Paulo Than Real Madrid’s Perez

Spanish outlet Don Balon are running with an interesting piece this ‘Domingo’, which may be worth Spurs fans’ consideration, on two fronts.

Front One. The Paul Dybala story goes beyond the preciousness of ‘will he ever sign for Tottenham?!’

According to the Spanish outlets’  Marcos Rodríguez, the man Tottenham Hotspur failed to sign last summer, was also offered it to Manchester United, PSG and Real Madrid.

This naturally raises more questions than answers, such as, “does the lad lack ambition?”

Some readers may recall the Harry Hotspur ITK that blew a hole in the frankly laughable ‘image rights’ tale that was doing the rounds.

If Manchester United, PSG and Real Madrid all passed on this great player, then that only adds credence to the ITK.

Front Two is this quote from Dona Balon: “Dybala prefers to go to other teams such as PSG and Tottenham, although the latter will depend on the continuity of a Mauricio Pochettino.”

If true, then Spurs that have been hollering for Pochettino to be handed his cards have – in a way – been working against the best interests of the club.

The potential pull of Pochettino ought not be underestimated.

In fact, if Daniel Levy calm his penny wise madness, he might ponder the infinite good that two Argentinian players did for Spurs, once upon a time.
