Image Rights Didn’t Destroy Dybala Deal

By The Boy -

A lot of misinformation doing the rounds in respect of the failed Paulo Dybala to Spurs transfer – that never was. The common misconception appears to be in respect of image rights.

Whilst this was certainly an element in the equation, it was never more than a small one. Sure, Paulo Bruno Exequiel Dybala has won the Serie A championship 4 times, but he’s not quite on a par with Lionel Messi in the ‘household name’ stakes, not yet, anyway.

The problem was all about the player’s agents. Straight agency fees killed this deal.

My understanding from a source close to the club is that two sets of agents wanted in the region of 40% of the final selling price.

There are AT LEAST 4 parasites attached to Dybala, one of them even relates to his former club, Palermo…

At the last look, the thick end of €40million would have been handed over to complete chancers.

There’s more to follow on this deal, and the possibility of Paulo Dybala becoming a Tottenham player in the future.

The way to clarify the Lo Celso deal is wait to next summer, and if the permanent purchase is activated, go and look in the Tottenham incomings list…..and you will see ……..Giovanni Lo Celso!!
