The 23-year-old was on the bench against Manchester United and West Ham, but not called upon in either game, which was frankly questionable.
So who is the villain in this piece? Mourinho has form for high profile spats with players. Ndombele himself is no angel and has hit the headlines before now for being incapable of maintaining fitness at previous clubs.
