“Bang Below Average” “Massive Chip On His Shoulder” Spurs Loanee Gets Brutal Send-Off From Some Fans

Tottenham Hotspur have chosen to recall Cameron Carter-Vickers from his loan spell with Stoke City, the Championship club have confirmed.

The 21-year-old will return to North London on January 2nd after a 15-appearance spell with the Potters, who are a lowly 21st in the second tier.

It is fair to say that these Stoke fans on Twitter were pleased to see the back of the American, whose attitude and performances failed to impress.

Seemingly, there was an interview in which CCV forgot the name of Stoke’s Bet365 Stadium and their fans have been keen to see the back of him since.

It it Carter-Vickers third loan in the Championship – after Swansea City and Ipswich Town – and he hasn’t really made a major impact at any of them.

The interesting aspect of this development is that the Stoke tweet makes it clear he was recalled by Spurs – and not sent back to us by Michael O’Neill.

That must be with the intent of finding him another loan move – or selling him in January – as the defender is unlikely to feature in Jose Mourinho’s immediate plans, especially considering his insistence that Juan Foyth won’t be going anywhere else in his search of regular football – via Sky Sports.
