Another Marquee Levy Signing On The Cards?

Rumour Hoover.

The Sun say that Tottenham’s deputy goalkeeper Michel Vorm is getting itchy feet and should the lad leave, then THFC are very interested in seeing Manchester United goalie Sam Johstone stepping into his second string shoes.

25 year old Sam is currently Aston Villa’s #2 custodian of the sticks.

Dutchman Vorm is 34 and if he wants to play first team football on a regular basis, then like broody women of the same vintage …time is ebbing away.

Michel only got to play cameo roles at White Hart Lane in previous season and this season at Wembley has been no exception.

To date the understudy to Hugo ‘Monster Munch’ Lloris has made just one Premier League appearance, which was against Saints back in January.

The one time World Cup runner up has faired mildly better in domestic cups and racked up 8 full games, this term. It will be interesting see if the flake Lloris elbow his way in for whatever remains of Spurs’ FA cup win.

Is Johnstone any good?

The Sun says: The 25-year-old will be available on a free transfer after SEVEN loan clubs during his time at Old Trafford.

Make of that what you will.
