Finishing sufficiently high up in the league to qualify for a European tournament is financially lucrative, but ultimately pointless if you aren’t equipped to win the damn thing.

This isn’t the XI I believe that the gaffer will select.
My best guess is that he will go for a more counter intuitive version with more reserves/kids etc and then throw on heavier artillery should that selection fail to rock the Villan’s casbah.
