Spurs Working On Juan Foyth Exit Deal

Sources close to the club tell the Harry Hotspur blog that behind the scenes, Tottenham are very much still looking for ways to bolster José Mourinho’s depleted first team squad. A particularly favoured idea is to move on Juan Foyth.

Under Mauricio Pochettino, it was mooted that Foyth was being groomed to play in a right-sided wing back role – as he does for Argentina – to ease the frustrations that came with Serge Aurier.

However, this never really happened.

Foyth’s departure has so far been hindered as Tottenham have been looking for a clean sale, whereas early responses from the market have only responded favourably to the possibility of a loan deal.

This, combined with the ongoing business of trying to “re-home” Christian Eriksen before his value completely evaporates, isn’t making life any easier during this traditionally difficult window.

Recently, Claudio Curti the boy’s agent revealed to Interdipendenza that there was a possibility of the 22-year-old making a move, and that he was waiting to get “clarity” from Spurs.
