New Contract Worth £80k pwk

Good morning groovy gang members.

Daniel Levy fans apologists are quick to point and cheer when our inglorious leader gets something right, even when it is an action that only a complete dope would fail to take.

One area you’d hope a man with a first in Economics to be proficient, is retaining the businesses assets.

Our miniature man at the helm has a chequered past in this respect, but our current squad is littered with players whose contracts uniformly loaded to the club’s advantage.

Alderwireld, Trippier,  Son Heung-min, Bentalleb, Mason, Dier, Wimmer, Kane and Alli have deals running into 2020.

Christian Eriksen looks like the first man to break rank and land a deal that will run into 2021. His current contract expires in 2018.

Discussing the negotiations, Eriksen told Danish broadcaster TV3 Sport: “We are talking about a contract, so it is coming, yes. Well, it looks positive.”

Glad believes that The Dane’s current salary is i.r.o £60,000 pwd and that the new deal will see the 23 year old better of to the tune of £80,000 pcm.
