“I’m over the moon” “Isn’t good enough” These Spurs Fans Are Split Over Emerging News

According to Ed Aarons of The Guardian, Brighton has agreed to a deal thought to be worth up to £25million with Stuttgart forward Nicolás González who was thought to be on Tottenham’s radar a while back, according to The Athletic.

The news that this boy has gone to Premier League rivals Brighton sparked some differing opinions online, with some inevitable moans and groans which never cease to amaze, given the amount of Bundesliga football one would have to watch in order to have a valuable opinion to offer to a discussion.

What we do know for sure is that if the deal is done, then all the debate is somewhat academic, but yet against we see other clubs taking action and buying up talent whilst Tottenham are still waiting for their latest manager to sign the dotted line and be formally announced. Another opportunity for Spurs’ critics to point out our lack of urgency in the markets.
