Four Lions

Nabil Bentaleb has posted a snap of him ‘on holiday’ on social media.

Nabil is either a big Chris Morris fan, or his contract negotiations are not a whimsy, and the lad is short on clothes.

An alternate scenario, and a frankly more believable one is that this picture was taken after some photoshoot type thing.

Either way, I suggest that we all email Daniel Levy a copy of this picture with a few brief and polite words, suggesting that the contract negotiations which have apparently taken nine months, get settled this week.

Hopefully Nabil isn’t really wandering around in his Spurs shirt when not on duty.

Barry: [car breaks down] fak, fak, fak it!

Omar: Did you fix this then, Barry?

Barry: Yes, I fixed it!

Omar: Did ya?

Barry: It’s the parts… they’re Jewish.

Omar: What parts in a car are Jewish?

[pause]

Omar: Hmm?

Fessal: Spark plugs.

Barry: Spark plugs! Jews invented spark plugs to control global traffic.

Emmanuel Adebayor has scored for Togo, grabbing an 88th-minute winner in a 2-1 win against Liberia on Sunday!

The GodIsLove XI picked up three points in their Group A opener of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Ah, the AFCON, another jewel in this arse hat’s crown.

This is his first goal in any competition in 7 months.

ITK on Spurs Odious this afternoon suggests we are still pursuing Morgan Schniederlin.

I don’t know about you, but this is one of those deals that’s all gone a bit Leandro Damiao for me now.

Saints old boy Matt Le Tissier told talkSPORT.

‘Out of the the top four clubs, I think Manchester United are more in need of him than Arsenal.

Arsenal have got a lot of midfield players. Would he be that much better than what they have already got? Possible a little better, yes, but in terms of needing somebody in that position and being light in that position – I think United are more in need of him than Arsenal are.

He can play for a top four team comfortably. He’s very accomplished in that [defensive midfield] position.’

No mention of the Champions League free zone that is Tottingham.

Ah well.
