Fingers Crossed Tom Carroll Actually Leaves

I don’t know the boy.

He’s probably a wonderful human being.

However as a footballer on the books of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club he’s become an even bigger stone in my shoe than that of the pilchard Pritchard.

Both players were trained and assessed by a wide variety of coaches and managers, at this club and many others.

And rejected.

Despite ‘young’ Tom having failed to make the grade anywhere, that never prevented an utterly clueless element of our wise and wonderful support persisting with this fantasy that they could ‘see something in him’.

This vision of course based more upon magic mushrooms than anything he was ever witnessed doing upon a football pitch for anybody.

For some SIX YEARS the now 24 year old Carroll has been milling about to no good purpose.

Loaned out incessantly, Leyton Orient, Derby County and Queens Park Rangers, Queens Park Rangers and Swansea City have all been graced with the Watford born boy’s talent.

If Swansea are daft enough to buy him, I wish him Godspeed.
