Surely this Tottenham transfer can now finally happen?! ‘Slow burn’ barely describes the exit of our once great Dane from North London. It feels a lot longer that the few months that have passed since the 27-year-old first announced to the world’s footballing press that he would like to try something new.
These fans are delighted with the news. Inter support are clearly looking at Christian Eriksen with less jaundiced eyes than Tottenham fans.
Opinion: The sooner Eriksen is moved on, the better for all concerned. Nice guy, however Tottenham have been embroiled in a prolonged period of indecision and general inertia, neither of which has aided the club.
