Last night’s England performance was packed with so much negativity and so little ambition, one could be forgiven for imagining that this was a Ron Greenwood side from the 1980s. Harry Kane failed to ignite his heat map, barely lightening the odd spots of green, in what was a distinctly unmemorable performance.
The closest Harry came to scoring was with this effort which as you can see was his only shot of the night that was actually on target.
These are sadly the sort of games that only serve to drain players. Harry Tweeted after the game about lots of positives to take from the two games 🦁🦁🦁 but in truth, he was just being kind. It’s difficult to believe anyone learned anything.
